Halogen-Free Flame Retardant & High Weather-Resistant PC/ABS Alloy
1. Product Positioning
This grade is a high-performance engineering plastic alloy specifically engineered for premium electrical/electronic components and harsh outdoor environments. By precisely alloying Polycarbonate (PC) for strength and ABS for processability, and integrating a halogen-free flame retardant system with advanced UV stabilizers, it offers an optimal balance of environmental compliance, safety, and long-term durability.
2. Core Value Propositions
Eco-Friendly: 100% Halogen-free, fully compliant with RoHS and REACH regulations. It features low smoke emission and non-toxic combustion.
Superior Fire Safety: Achieves a UL94 V0 (1.5mm) rating, effectively preventing the spread of fire in electrical applications.
Excellent Weatherability: Formulated with a high-efficiency UV-stabilization system to resist yellowing, brittleness, and mechanical degradation under prolonged sun exposure.
Robust Mechanical Performance: Features high tensile strength (59 MPa) and excellent impact resistance (50.1 KJ/m²) to ensure structural integrity against physical stress.

5. Processing Guide
Pre-drying: Must be dried at 90°C–100°C for 3–4 hours. Ensure moisture content is below 0.02% to avoid hydrolysis.
Melt Temperature: Recommended at 240°C–270°C. Avoid excessive residence time in the barrel to prevent thermal degradation of flame retardants.
Mold Temperature: 70°C–90°C. Higher mold temperatures improve surface gloss and reduce internal stress.
