Product Introduction: Reinforced PA6 GF30 - High Impact & Eco-Friendly Series
Key Features: Ultra-High Strength, Superior Impact Resistance, Weather Resistance, Global Environmental Compliance
1. Product Overview
Reinforced PA6 GF30 is an engineering composite based on Polyamide 6 (Nylon 6) resin, reinforced with 30% high-tenacity surface-treated glass fibers (GF) and modified with specialized impact toughening agents.
Engineered specifically for the demanding environments of garden machinery and power tools, this material is toughened to maintain exceptional impact strength even in low-temperature conditions and under high-frequency vibration. It serves as the premier solution for replacing metal components to achieve weight reduction while significantly enhancing product service life.
2. Core Advantages
Exceptional Mechanical Strength: The 30% glass fiber reinforcement dramatically increases tensile strength and flexural modulus, ensuring structural components do not deform under heavy mechanical loads.
Superior Impact Performance (Toughened Grade): Modified with high-efficiency toughening agents, it retains excellent ductility at low temperatures, effectively preventing cracking caused by accidental drops or collisions.
Wear Resistance & Vibration Damping: Inherits the natural self-lubricating properties of Nylon 6. Combined with fiber reinforcement, it provides outstanding wear resistance and effectively absorbs vibrations generated by high-speed motors.
Weather & Chemical Resistance: Excellent resistance to grease, fuels, and UV radiation, making it ideal for long-term outdoor use in professional landscaping equipment.
Global Environmental Compliance: Fully compliant with RoHS 2.0, REACH, and other international environmental regulations, meeting the high standards required for global export.

4. Typical Application Fields
I. Garden Machinery
Applications: Lawnmower chassis and housings, trimmer heads, professional chainsaw handles, and brush cutter protective shields.
Benefit: Resists debris impact and withstands prolonged exposure to harsh sunlight and fuel contact while maintaining structural integrity.
II. Power Tools
Applications: Electric drill housings, impact hammer handles, angle grinder gear covers, and circular saw guards.
Benefit: Provides essential electrical insulation, withstands the heat of continuous motor operation, and protects internal precision parts during drop tests.
III. Automotive & Industrial Parts
Applications: Engine covers, intake manifold brackets, and industrial cooling fan blades.
Benefit: High thermal stability and resistance to vibration fatigue.
5. Injection Molding Recommendations
Drying: PA6 is highly hygroscopic. It must be dried at 80-90°C for 4-6 hours. Failure to dry will result in surface silver streaks, bubbles, or a significant loss in mechanical strength.
Melt Temperature: 250 - 280°C. Adjust based on mold complexity; avoid excessive temperatures to prevent nylon degradation.
Mold Temperature: 80 - 110°C. Higher mold temperatures improve crystallinity, enhance surface gloss, and reduce the visibility of glass fibers ("floating fibers").
Injection Speed: High-speed injection is recommended to reduce cooling in the runners, resulting in a better surface finish and higher weld line strength.
