1. Product Overview

Reinforced PA6 GF30 is an engineering composite based on Polyamide 6 (Nylon 6) resin, reinforced with 30% high-tenacity surface-treated glass fibers (GF) and modified with specialized impact toughening agents.

5. Injection Molding Recommendations

  • Drying: PA6 is highly hygroscopic. It must be dried at 80-90°C for 4-6 hours. Failure to dry will result in surface silver streaks, bubbles, or a significant loss in mechanical strength.

  • Melt Temperature: 250 - 280°C. Adjust based on mold complexity; avoid excessive temperatures to prevent nylon degradation.

  • Mold Temperature: 80 - 110°C. Higher mold temperatures improve crystallinity, enhance surface gloss, and reduce the visibility of glass fibers ("floating fibers").

  • Injection Speed: High-speed injection is recommended to reduce cooling in the runners, resulting in a better surface finish and higher weld line strength.
