Product Spotlight: Super-Tough 30% Glass Fiber Reinforced Nylon (PA-GF30 ST)
1. Product Positioning
This grade is a breakthrough in high-performance engineering plastics, engineered to bridge the gap between high stiffness and extreme toughness. By integrating 30% high-strength glass fibers with a proprietary rubber-toughening matrix, this material overcomes the inherent brittleness of standard reinforced nylons. With a Notched Izod Impact strength reaching 50 KJ/m², it is specifically designed for structural components subjected to severe mechanical shock, vibration, and high-load environments.
2. Core Value Propositions
The "Metal-Replacement" Standard: Offers a flexural modulus comparable to die-cast alloys while providing the lightweight and corrosion-resistance benefits of polymers.
Exceptional Impact Resistance: Unlike traditional GF30 materials that are brittle, this grade maintains a notched impact strength of 50 KJ/m², allowing it to absorb and dissipate energy without catastrophic failure.
Superior Fatigue Endurance: The toughened matrix prevents the propagation of micro-cracks under high-frequency vibration, significantly extending the service life of moving parts.
Dimensional Stability: The 30% glass fiber reinforcement ensures minimal mold shrinkage and low moisture absorption, maintaining precise tolerances even in humid conditions.
Excellent Thermal & Chemical Resistance: Retains high mechanical strength at elevated temperatures and offers robust resistance to oils, fuels, and industrial solvents.

5. Processing Guide
Pre-drying: Nylon is highly hygroscopic. Dry at 90°C–100°C for 4–6 hours. Moisture content must be below 0.1% to prevent loss of physical properties.
Melt Temperature: * PA6 Base: 250°C - 280°C
PA66 Base: 275°C - 300°C
Mold Temperature: 80°C - 110°C. Higher mold temperatures enhance crystallinity and improve surface finish by reducing "fiber floating."
Injection Speed: Moderate to high speed is recommended to ensure a smooth surface and optimal fiber orientation.
