Detailed Technical Parameters of PPTD20 Density
PPTD20 is a modified material with 20% talc filler added to a polypropylene matrix. The density of PPTD20 is typically 1.04 g/cm³ - 1.08 g/cm³, with a typical value of approximately 1.06 g/cm³. Compared to pure polypropylene (density approximately 0.90-0.91 g/cm³), the density of PPTD20 is increased by about 15%-18%.
What Alternative Materials Can Replace PPTD20?
1. PP+TD15 or PP+TD25: PP+TD series materials with different talc filler content can be directly substituted. PP+TD15 density ~1.02-1.03 g/cm³, PP+TD25 density ~1.08 g/cm³ with higher rigidity.
2. PP+GF10 (10% glass fiber reinforced PP): Density typically 1.06-1.08 g/cm³, close to PPTD20, but tensile strength and flexural modulus are significantly higher.
3. ABS or ASA materials: Consider for applications requiring high appearance quality and good painting performance. However, ABS typically costs 1.5-2 times that of PPTD20.
